Kingdom hit by intense heatwave, temperatures near 45°C in lowlands

Jordan Daily – The Kingdom will remain under the grip of a severe heatwave on Wednesday, as a hot air mass continues to dominate the region, driving temperatures well above seasonal norms.

According to ArabiaWeather, conditions are expected to be relatively hot to very hot across much of the country. Highs in the capital Amman and other highland areas are projected to range between 33°C and 37°C.

A special warning has been issued for low-lying regions, including the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, where extreme heat is forecast. Temperatures in these areas could climb to nearly 45°C.
