Jordan Daily – Jordanian MP Mijhem Al-Suqoor, head of the Jordanian-Bulgarian Parliamentary Friendship Committee and a veteran lawmaker, praised King Abdullah II’s recent visit to Bulgaria, calling it a “historic and significant step” in strengthening bilateral cooperation across various sectors.
Al-Suqoor highlighted the importance of the visit, which coincides with the third edition of the Aqaba Process conference, held in Sofia.The event brings together heads of state, international organizations, and security agencies to discuss the threat of extremism and terrorism in the region.
The Jordanian-Bulgarian Friendship Committees have held multiple meetings across different parliamentary sessions. Al-Suqoor noted that the committee has received official invitations to visit Bulgaria and meet with Bulgarian MPs.
