Legislative reforms aims at enhancing investment climate and job creation-PM says

Jordan Daily – Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh delivered an opening speech at the Prime Minister’s Office, discussing economic performance and current challenges. This session marks the beginning of interactive meetings on the executive program for the economic modernization vision titled “Between Two Years.”

In his speech, Al-Khasawneh stated, “The government reaffirms its commitment to its comprehensive vision.”

He added that in the first year, the government laid all the groundwork to stimulate economic activity and set the foundation for the next ten years up to 2033.

He pointed out that the government has enacted several laws to improve the investment environment, increase growth rates, and create job opportunities, potentially up to one million jobs, emphasizing that the vision’s funding sources are centered on empowering the private sector as a partner to the public sector.

He continued: The government has passed a new law for public-private partnerships and amended the companies law among other legislations.

The sessions aim to review economic performance, program achievements, and the vision’s pillars, with the participation of Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh and several ministers.
