Jordan Daily – Jordanian Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission said on Sunday that low-cost carriers have begun gradually resuming flights from Europe to the kingdom.
Commission chief Haitham Misto said Hungary’s Wizz Air has started operating two weekly flights from Budapest to Jordan. He added that Ireland’s Ryanair will relaunch services on 16 European routes from Oct. 28, beginning with two routes from Sept. 20.
Misto said three other low-cost airlines are considering launching regular flights between Europe and Jordan. He noted that Ryanair has already received approval to operate scheduled winter-season flights to 16 European destinations.
