MadfoatCom, Aqaba Water company partner to transform digital payment solutions in southern Jordan

Jordan Daily – MadfoatCom, the official operator of the eFAWATEERcom system under the supervision and regulation of the Central Bank of Jordan and the Jordan Payments and Clearing Company (JoPACC), has announced a strategic partnership agreement with Aqaba Water Company to introduce modern digital payment solutions for southern Jordan residents.

The signing ceremony was held in Amman, and attended by senior representatives from both organizations.

This partnership aims to enhance the customer experience by offering fast and easy digital payment solutions for water bills, reducing the need to visit traditional payment centers. Through this initiative, citizens can now pay their bills conveniently using the eFAWATEERcom app, website, and banking applications, MadfoatCom noted in a statement.

MadfoatCom Chairman Eng. Nasser Saleh, commented:”We are proud of our partnership with Aqaba Water Company to provide simple and fast digital payment solutions for southern Jordan residents. Now, customers can pay their water bills through the eFAWATEERcom app, website, and banking applications, reducing the need to visit payment centers. This step saves citizens time and effort, promotes financial inclusion, and reduces reliance on cash transactions.”

 

Eng. Mufid Al-Lawzi, General Manager of Aqaba Water Company, stated: “Signing this agreement reflects our ongoing commitment to improving the quality of services provided to citizens as we seek to provide solutions that facilitate the payment of financial dues with ease and simplicity. Cooperation with MadfoatCom represents a qualitative shift towards enhancing digital transformation and saving time and effort for residents of the southern governorates.”

He added, “This partnership will help reduce the burden on citizens by shortening the time and effort required to visit traditional payment centers. It emphasizes the importance of working with MadfoatCom to provide modern and secure electronic payment channels. This agreement also aligns with Aqaba Water Company’s smart transformation strategy, under which all our services will soon be fully electronic.”
