Jordan Daily – A citizen was defrauded of about $8,000 in counterfeit U.S. currency by a man of Arab nationality in a suburb of Amman, police said on Sunday.
An official police source said the victim reported the fraud involving $100 bills to authorities, prompting officers to move to the scene. The suspects and the forged banknotes were seized, the source added.
Police said an investigation into the case has been launched.
