Jordan Daily – Al- Mamlaka TV has been referred to the Attorney General by the Media Commission following its broadcast of a news report announcing a state of emergency in all governorates of Jordan amidst Iran’s launch of drones and missiles towards Israel on Saturday evening.
The Commission deemed the channel’s broadcast and online publication as a violation of the law, especially after the Government Spokesperson and Minister of Government Communication, Muhannad Al-Mubaydeen, denied the accuracy of the news report.
The Director of the Commission directed a letter to the Attorney General for the referral of the channel on Monday morning.
