Jordan Daily – Dr. Ahmed Ziadat, the Minister of Justice , held discussions on Tuesday with Pierre-Christophe Chatzisavas, Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Jordan, and the accompanying delegation.
The talks focused on avenues for strengthening collaborative efforts and coordination.
According to an official statement from the ministry, the meeting included a review of the progress of the Support to Rule of Law Project, funded through the European Union budget for the years 2023 to 2026.
Dr. Ziadat extended his congratulations to Pierre-Christophe Chatzisavas on his recent appointment as the new EU ambassador to Jordan, expressing his best wishes for a successful tenure.
The Minister commended the enduring relationship between Jordan and the EU, underscoring the significant role EU plays in bolstering the Kingdom’s justice sector.
Chatzisavas emphasized the profound cooperation between Jordan’s Ministry of Justice and the European Union, emphasizing the shared objective of advancing the rule of law in Jordan.
