Jordan Daily – Minister of Labour Yousef Al-Shamali, disclosed that an impressive 85 percent of graduates from the Vocational Training Corporation (VTC) have successfully secured direct employment opportunities.
Speaking on Al Mamlaka TV, Al-Shamali highlighted the significant role VTC plays to facilitate job placements for graduates.
The minister added that the Corporation , annually accommodates approximately 12,000 students. In a bid to stay abreast with current labor market demands, the corporation is set to equip three laboratories with state-of-the-art technologies.
This initiative, scheduled to commence on September 1, is in collaboration with the German side and aims to address present market requirements. The laboratories will cater to the burgeoning need for expertise in electric and hybrid vehicles, as well as heavy equipment, aligning VTC’s offerings with the evolving industry trends, according to Al-Shamali.
