Jordan Daily – Lawmaker Hussein Al-Omoush has submitted a parliamentary question to the Minister of Foreign Affairs seeking clarification on the activities of the new U.S. ambassador to the kingdom, James Holtsnider.
Al-Omoush asked about the nature of the ambassador’s social engagements and public meetings, and whether they are coordinated with the foreign ministry in line with diplomatic norms, including the Vienna Convention.
He also queried whether the ambassador’s movements are unrestricted or subject to regulations applied to all diplomatic missions.
