Jordan Daily – Member of Parliament Zuhair Khashman said on Monday that engaging young people in crisis management is no longer optional but a necessity, stressing the importance of training and equipping youth to deal with national and regional challenges.
Speaking on behalf of the National Union Party during the “Partisan Voices” forum, Khashman said empowering young men and women to participate in decision-making would strengthen community preparedness and balance state institutions’ discipline with the energy and dynamism of youth.
The event, organised by Drabzeen Human Development in partnership with ActionAid Arab Region, brought together political party representatives and youth activists from across the country for debates focused on climate justice and humanitarian response.
