Jordan Daily – The Director General of National Agricultural Research Center (NARC), Khaled Abu Hammour, met with Hungarian Ambassador Attila Kali on Thursday to discuss strengthening cooperation in agricultural research and technology transfer aimed at boosting food security.
Abu Hammour outlined the Ministry of Agriculture’s efforts to attract innovative investments and integrate modern technologies to advance development.
He also highlighted opportunities for Jordan to supply Hungary with agricultural products during winter, including high-quality olive oil and Medjool dates.
Kali praised NARC’s regional standing and expressed Hungary’s interest in collaborating on scientific research to tackle climate change. He proposed the formation of a NARC research team to visit Hungarian centers and explore joint projects to enhance both countries’ agricultural sectors.
