Jordan Daily – Interior Minister Mazen Al-Faraya said on Wednesday that the number of trucks crossing the King Hussein Bridge to the Palestinian territories hs dropped since the war on Gaza began, and denied any land bridge for trade with Israel.
Al-Faraya told the World Affairs Council in Amman , that statistics showed fewer trucks crossed the bridge daily than before the conflict, which has killed more than 30.000 Palestinians.
“There is no land bridge to transport goods between Jordan and Israel,” he said, rejecting reports of such a route.
Jordan, which has a peace treaty with Israel, has condemned its attacks on Gaza and called for a ceasefire.
