Jordan Daily – Heavy rain fell in northern Jordan on Saturday, with Ajloun recording the highest amount of 58.3 millimeters (mm) in 24 hours, the Meteorological Department said.
Other northern areas also received substantial rainfall, including Irbid (47.5 mm), Samma (42 mm), Al-Baqoura (35.5 mm), Al-Ramtha (20.5 mm), Wadi Al-Rayan (21 mm) and Jerash (17 mm).
Rainfall was scarce in the central and southern regions of the kingdom, with Al-Jubaiha, Deir Alla and Zarqa measuring only 1.5 mm each, and Mafraq 8.2 mm, the department added in a statement.
