Jordan Daily – Ministry of Labour caught 2,419 foreign workers violating labour laws during a joint inspection in January and February 2025.
Over 2,000 workers, including 104 domestic staff, have been deported, with some employers paying fines to regularize others’ status.
The ministry emphasized the ongoing campaign aims to regulate the labour market and ensure non-Jordanian workers are employed legally.
Employers face fines starting at 800 dinars for each undocumented worker, as the ministry seeks to enforce compliance with the Labour Law.
