Jordan Daily – Jordan has seen a significant rise in the number of international students enrolling in its higher education institutions.
Dr. Mamoun Al-Dibbi, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, announced that 11,814 new Arab and foreign students joined Jordanian universities at the start of the 2024-2025 academic year. This brings the total number of international students in Jordan’s higher education institutions across all programs and degrees to 51,647.
These students represent 113 countries, reflecting Jordan’s growing appeal as a destination for higher education. Dr. Al-Dibbi highlighted the ministry’s efforts to attract students from around the globe, emphasizing the country’s commitment to providing quality education.
