Jordan Daily – Over half of Jordan’s female population falls within the 15 to 49 age bracket, according to data released by the Department of Statistics.
By the end of 2023, women accounted for 47.1% of the total population of Jordan, numbering 5.419 million compared to 52.9% males. Furthermore, women in the reproductive age group (15-49 years) made up 52.5% of the total female population, a figure that drops to 11.9% for those aged 50 and above.
