Palestinians in southern Gaza get medical aid from Jordanian hospital

Jordan Daily – A Jordanian field hospital opened in the southern Gaza Strip on Monday to treat Palestinians wounded by Israeli attacks , the hospital director said.

The hospital, which is located in Khan Younes has 145 staff from the Royal Medical Services, was sent by King Abdullah II , who has been a vocal supporter of the Palestinian cause.

The hospital has various departments, including emergency, intensive care, gynecology, pediatrics and surgery, and can accommodate 41 premature babies in incubators, Major Doctor Muhammad Jum’a said.

It is the first field hospital to enter Gaza since Israel launched a military offensive on Oct. 7 that has killed more than 14 thousand Palestinians, many of them civilians.
