Jordan Daily – The University of Petra said on Monday its computer science, software engineering, cybersecurity and data science and artificial intelligence programs have received Jordanian academic accreditation in accordance with standards set by the Higher Education Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission.
The university said the move makes computer science, cybersecurity and data science the first accredited programs of their kind in Jordan, while software engineering is the second Kingdomwide..
Petra’s IT faculty also holds international accreditations, including ABET for computer science and cybersecurity, and IET for software engineering.
