By : JD

Jordan Daily – The Petra University Faculty of Law Alumni Forum has agreed to hold regular gatherings and launch initiatives to support law students through training programmes and networking with local and international institutions, the university said on Saturday.

The decisions were announced at the forum’s third alumni meeting, organised by the Faculty of Law and the Deanship of Student Affairs, aimed at strengthening ties between graduates and the university. The event was attended by Ahmad al-Qasem, head of the university’s quality assurance unit.

Law Faculty Dean Ali Al-Dabbas opened the meeting with a review of the college’s development milestones, highlighting alumni achievements at national and international levels. He noted that the faculty recently secured French accreditation from HCÉRES for five years and graduated its first cohort of master’s students in law.

Dean of Student Affairs Eyad al-Mallah said the meetings were key to building lasting connections with graduates, adding that the university was proud of their professional success.

The gathering featured a video presentation on the faculty’s academic progress, followed by the distribution of appreciation certificates to alumni who had initiated projects to support students. Students who contributed to the French accreditation process were also honoured.

The event concluded with an open dialogue between alumni and faculty members.
