Jordan Daily – The plastic and rubber industries in Jordan have emerged as significant contributors, covering an impressive 59.7 percent of the country’s domestic consumption.
The yearly production volume stands at approximately JD 657 million , accounting for 3.8 percent of the overall industrial output ,according to a recent report released by the Jordan Chamber of Industry.
The report said that there are 641 establishments in the Kingdom that employ 12,200 workers. The majority of these workers are local labor force, making up approximately 4.5 percent of the total employment in the industrial sector.
