Jordan Daily – Prime Minister Dr. Bisher Al-Khasawneh issued an official notice on Monday, declaring Sunday, July 7, 2024, a public holiday for all government ministries, departments, official institutions, public universities, municipalities, joint services councils, the Greater Amman Municipality, and fully government-owned companies.
The holiday marks the Hijri New Year, corresponding to the first of Muharram in the year 1446 AH.
The notice exempts ministries, departments, and institutions whose nature of work requires otherwise.
