Jordan Daily – Prime Minister Dr. Jafar Hassan on Wednesday issued an official directive announcing a public holiday for Eid al-Adha, starting Thursday, June 5, through Tuesday, June 10, 2025.
The directive states that all ministries, official departments, public institutions and bodies, state-owned universities, municipalities, joint services councils, the Greater Amman Municipality, and wholly government-owned companies will suspend work during this period.
Institutions whose nature of work requires otherwise are exempt from the holiday, the directive added.
