Jordan Daily – Prime Minister Jafar Hassan said on Tuesday that Israel’s war on Gaza is a war on humanity, calling on the international community to act to stop the ongoing aggression, which is targeting children, women, and unarmed civilians.
Speaking at a cabinet session in Madaba, Hassan said Israel is now using starvation as a means of forced displacement against Palestinians who remain steadfast on their land.
He emphasized that King Abdullah II is leading efforts to support Palestinian resilience, which he said is the only guarantee for restoring their full rights, including the establishment of an independent, sovereign state based on the pre-June 4, 1967, borders and a two-state solution.
His remarks came as Israel resumed its military offensive on Gaza early Tuesday, causing hundreds of casualties, including both deaths and injuries.
