Jordan Daily – Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh told Parliament on Wednesday that there are no prisoners of conscience in the country and warned of a “fifth column” that could undermine its stability.
He also said that Jordan, led by King Abdullah II, has been a staunch supporter of Gaza and the Palestinian cause since the start of the Israeli offensive on Gaza and that his efforts have helped to sway global opinion.
