PM sets working hours for Ramadan

Jordan Daily –  Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh announced on Sunday that the official working hours during Ramadan, will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for all public sector employees.

The decision, which takes effect from the first day of Ramadan, applies to all ministries, official departments, institutions, public bodies, universities, municipalities, and government-owned companies, according to an official statement.

The statement said that some employees may have different working hours depending on the nature of their work, and that their department heads will arrange them accordingly.

Al-Khasawneh also urged all institutions to respect the sanctity of Ramadan and the feelings of the fasting people.
