Jordan Daily – Over 120 project managers gathered in Amman for the Project Management Professional Development Day, focusing on the theme, A Sustainable Future with PM: Exploring Water and AI.” Organized by the Project Management Association (PMI JO).
The event showcased how artificial intelligence (AI) and effective project management are contributing to sustainability in Jordan.
The event’s panel discussion, moderated by Jordanian engineer Ammar Mango, examined AI’s growing role in enhancing project efficiency, minimizing risks, and fostering innovation. Panelists included Yousef Amoura, CEO of Sager Drones, Eman Gammoh, Head of AI at Arab Bank, and Dr. Yahya Hazem, Head of Product at Mawdoo3, who discussed how Jordanian companies are integrating AI to build sustainable project management practices.
A separate session led by Eng. Nazeeh Rasheed highlighted the impact of project management on water conservation, showcasing successful initiatives within Jordan. Presentations by Ghada Qatarneh and Monther Wahbeh focused on the latest PMI certifications and strategies for reducing carbon footprints through effective project management.
Notable PMI Authorized Training Partners, including Jordan Engineering Association, Pioneers Academy, and Samman & Co. – BDO, participated in the day-long event, which featured networking opportunities and knowledge-sharing sessions.
