Jordan Daily – Public Security Directorate (PSD) on Thursday urged citizens to take precautionary measures as temperatures drop and intermittent rain falls across the northern parts of the kingdom and limited areas in the central and eastern regions.
The PSD warned of reduced visibility caused by fog over high mountainous areas and parts of the plains, as well as by dust in desert regions.
Motorists were advised to drive carefully due to slippery roads in areas experiencing rainfall and to avoid unnecessary risks. The directorate also encouraged the public to contact the unified emergency hotline at 911 if assistance is needed.
