
Jordan Daily – Airport International Group (AIG), operator of Jordan’s Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA), reported record traffic in 2025, highlighting the airport’s expanding role as a regional aviation hub.
QAIA handled 868,622 passengers in December, bringing full-year traffic to 9.79 million, up 11.27% from 2024, AIG said. Aircraft movements rose 9.81% year on year to 80,565, including 7,316 in December. Air cargo declined 7.53% to 69,770 tonnes for the year,the Group said statement seen by Jordan Daily.
“The strong performance we achieved in 2025 reflects the confidence passengers and airline partners place in Queen Alia International Airport and in Jordan as a destination and a hub. Sustained growth across passenger traffic, aircraft movements, and network breadth is a direct result of our long-term strategy to enhance connectivity, operational efficiency, and the overall passenger experience,” AIG Chief Executive Nicolas Deviller said.
He added the Group would continue investing to support sustainable growth.
