Jordan Daily – Qatar Charity, a humanitarian organisation, is distributing food and clothing vouchers to refugees in Jordan who face economic hardship after fleeing their home countries, the charity said on Tuesday.
The campaign, called “Like One Body”, aims to alleviate the suffering of the refugees and show solidarity with them, it said in a statement.
Saleh Al-Marri, the general supervisor of Qatar Charity’s office in Jordan said the charity has distributed 20,000 food vouchers, worth JD 900,000 , to about 100,000 beneficiaries, and 3,000 clothing vouchers, worth JD 135,000 , to about 15,000 beneficiaries in various parts of the country.
He also said it is providing winter aid, including parcels, blankets, heaters, heating fuel and winter clothing vouchers .
