Jordan Daily – Qatar on Tuesday condemned the “cowardly” Israeli attack on residential buildings housing members of Hamas’s political bureau in the capital, Doha, and vowed not to tolerate actions that threaten its security and sovereignty.
The foreign ministry said in a statement the strike represented a “flagrant violation of international laws and norms” and posed a serious threat to the safety of citizens and residents. Security services, civil defence and other authorities had immediately responded to the incident, it said, adding that investigations were under way and further details would be released once available.
Jordan also condemned the attack in strong terms, describing it as an extension of what it called Israel’s “brutality and aggression” that endanger regional security.
“Our security is one, and we stand fully with our brothers in Qatar and in absolute solidarity with any steps they take to defend their security, stability and sovereignty,” Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi wrote on social media platform X.
Safadi warned that Israel would continue its “wars and violations of international law” unless the international community, especially the U.N. Security Council, acted to stop it.
