Jordan Daily – A senior Palestinian official revealed on Wednesday that Qatar has not asked leaders of the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, to leave its territory, either directly or indirectly.
The official, who remains in contact with Hamas and spoke on the condition of anonymity, told the Jordan Daily , that Qatar “has not requested Hamas leaders residing on its soil to leave Doha, neither through hints nor explicit statements.”
This clarification comes in response to recent Arab diplomatic rumors suggesting that Hamas leaders would depart from Qatar following the conclusion of the Israeli assault on the Gaza Strip.
