Jordan Daily – Jordan, Iraq and Egypt have agreed to connect their railways as part of a regional transport project, the head of the Arab Bridge Maritime company said on Sunday.
Adnan Al-Abadleh told a meeting of industrialists in Amman , attended by transport minister , Wissam Tahtamouni. that the railway link, which would run through the Arab Bridge Company’s operations in the Gulf of Aqaba and the Sinai Peninsula, is expected to be completed within two years.
He said the project would offer an alternative to maritime shipping for trade with Europe and America.
