Jordan Daily – The Grand Mufti of the Kingdom, Dr. Ahmad Al-Hasanat, announced that the day after tomorrow, Tuesday, is the first day of the holy month of Ramadan.
Al-Hasanat confirmed that the crescent of Ramadan could not be seen tonight during an event to observe the crescent of Ramadan, held by the Department of Ifta, this Sunday evening, at the King Hussein bin Talal Mosque in the capital, Amman.
He said that the Council of Iftaa, Research and Islamic Studies, after reviewing the results of the investigation for the birth and tracking of the movements of the crescent and its phases, confirmed that tomorrow, Monday, is the complement of the month of Sha’ban, and Tuesday is the first of the holy month of Ramadan.
