Jordan Daily – Secretary-General of the Higher Population Council, Issa Masarweh, expressed concern over the rising rate of cesarean births in Jordan, calling it a worrying trend.
The findings were highlighted in the latest population survey, which was released earlier today.
Masarweh also noted that the survey revealed prevalent desires for having more children among Jordanians, as well as a tendency for short birth intervals between children, both of which are significant demographic indicators.
