Rising temperatures, dust, and rain expected

Jordan Daily – Temperatures will rise 8-10°C above average on Thursday, with warm weather across most areas and hot conditions in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Moderate southeastern winds may stir dust, especially in desert regions.

On Friday, a Khamsin low-pressure system will bring dusty conditions, reducing visibility. By evening, temperatures will drop as cooler, humid air approaches, with a slight chance of light rain in the south.

Saturday will see a sharp temperature drop, with mild weather in most areas and warm conditions in the Jordan Valley. Scattered showers, thunderstorms, and hail are possible in southeastern and northeastern regions. Dust will gradually clear from western areas at night.

Sunday will be slightly cooler, with mild conditions and a chance of light rain in the northeast. Dust may still affect visibility in eastern regions.

The Meteorological Department has urged citizens to stay updated through official sources and adhere to precautionary measures, particularly given the expected dusty and unstable weather on Friday and Saturday.
