Jordan Daily – A Grad rocket, launched from southern Lebanon, landed in an uninhabited desert area in Al-Muwaqqar on Saturday evening, according to a statement from a senior military official of the Jordanian Armed Forces. The incident resulted in no casualties or damage.
Military response teams were promptly dispatched to the site. The official emphasized that Jordan’s air defense systems are on high alert and ready to intercept any further rockets or drones attempting to penetrate the kingdom’s airspace.
The official also urged the public to seek information from official sources and to refrain from spreading rumors that could incite panic.
He reassured citizens that the armed forces are steadfast in their mission to safeguard Jordan’s skies, land, and borders from any threats to national security and stability.
