Romanian Foreign Minister visits Petra, discusses tourism cooperation

Jordan Daily – Dr. Fares Breizat, head of the Petra Development and Tourism Authority, met with Romanian Foreign Minister Luminita Odobescu to discuss strengthening tourism and cultural cooperation between Petra and Romanian cities.

Breizat highlighted Petra’s global significance and efforts to promote the site, including religious tourism.

Odobescu praised Petra’s historical value and Jordan’s security, expressing interest in further collaboration.

The delegation toured the archaeological site and discussed ongoing efforts to preserve and promote Petra as a top global destination.
