Royal Jordanian expands route network to London and Manchester

Jordan Daily – Royal Jordanian airlines (RJ), will launch a new air route from Amman to London Stansted starting this Sunday, with three weekly flights, and to Manchester starting next Wednesday with two weekly flights, as part of its strategy to expand its network and attract tourism.

Samer Majali, Deputy Chairman and CEO of  Royal Jordanian , said Stansted and Manchester are key additions to the airline’s network, aiming to offer new travel options, serve Jordanian and Arab communities, facilitate business travel, and promote tourism to Jordan from Europe.

The move is seen as a step to enhance bilateral relations between Jordan and the UK, easing travel for Jordanian citizens and encouraging tourism and investment, especially with the introduction of electronic visas to Britain.

Majali highlighted the company’s plan to expand its destination network to 60 stations and increase its fleet to over 40 aircraft in the coming years to meet growing travel demand and industry developments.
