Jordan Daily – Responding to heightened regional tensions, Royal Jordanian Airlines announced on Monday that it will operate three special flights this week to repatriate Jordanian citizens from Beirut.
The flights, scheduled for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, follow an urgent advisory from Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, which called on all Jordanian nationals in Lebanon to leave the country as soon as possible.
The airline’s move comes as the situation in Lebanon becomes increasingly precarious, prompting swift action from the Jordanian government to ensure the safety of its citizens. Royal Jordanian, in a statement, reaffirmed its commitment to providing necessary assistance, underscoring the national carrier’s role in safeguarding Jordanian interests abroad.
The flights are part of a coordinated effort with relevant authorities, and the airline indicated that it would continue to monitor the situation closely, adjusting its plans as needed.
