Jordan Daily – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi asserted that the country will not allow its territory to become a battleground.
Addressing reporters alongside Luxembourg’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Affairs, Xavier Bettel, Safadi underscored the necessity of maintaining vigilance at the country’s borders. “We must remain on high alert and will not permit anyone to transform Jordan into a site of conflict,” he said. “Our foremost priority is the protection of our country and its people. Should any escalation occur, our primary concern will be to safeguard Jordan and its citizens.”
He further emphasized that Jordan will not be a venue for any military engagements and that violations of Jordanian airspace would be met with a firm response.
