Jordan Daily – Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi and German Bundestag Vice-President Aydan Ozoguz met in Amman on Sunday to discuss efforts to end the Israeli war on Gaza and address the escalating humanitarian crisis.
The talks focused on cooperation in delivering sustainable humanitarian aid across Gaza. Safadi emphasized the urgent need for international action to halt Israeli violations in Gaza, warning of a catastrophic humanitarian crisis approaching famine due to continued hostilities and restricted aid access.
Ozoguz highlighted Germany’s commitment to working with Jordan to find practical solutions to reduce Middle East tensions and achieve a two-state solution , noting the special importance of German-Jordanian relations and affirmed Germany’s dedication to collaborating with Jordan to alleviate the region’s suffering.
The meeting also covered broader Jordanian-German relations, with both sides expressing a desire to expand cooperation in various fields.
