Jordan Daily – Member of Parliament Ahmad Safadi secured his position for another term as the Speaker of the Lower House of Parliament, emerging victorious with 82 votes during a ballot held on Wednesday.
Safadi faced off against his contender, MP Nassar Al-Qaisi, who garnered 35 votes, in the third and final ordinary session of the Lower House in the presence of 128 parliament members.
