Senate president , Bulgarian envoy discuss bilateral cooperation

Jordan Daily – Senate president Faisal Al-Fayez met Bulgaria’s ambassador to Jordan Metin Kazak on Wednesday to discuss ways to boost ties between the two countries, especially in economic, parliamentary and political fields, the Senate said in a statement.

The statement said Al-Fayez praised the high level of bilateral relations, based on mutual respect and cooperation, and the consensus on many issues of common interest, including the need for political solutions to the conflicts in the region.

He also stressed the importance of supporting King Abdullah’s efforts to find a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue, in line with international resolutions and the two-state solution, and to stop the Israeli aggression against the Palestinians.

Ambassador Kazak affirmed the importance of King Abdullah’s role in ending the regional conflicts, and expressed his country’s keenness to enhance cooperation with Jordan in various fields, the statement said.
