Jordan Daily – Syrian President Ahmad Al-Sharaa on Wednesday expressed his appreciation for Jordan’s support, recalling the warm welcome he received from King Abdullah II following his assumption of power in Syria.
In a televised address to the nation, Al-Sharaa also highlighted Jordan’s consistent positions on regional issues, saying he would not forget the kingdom’s stances during times of crisis.
The speech followed Al-Sharaa’s meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump in Saudi Arabia, after which Washington announced the lifting of sanctions on Syria.
