Jordan Daily – A video showing black smoke rising from the King Hussein Mosque in Amman sparked concern on social media on Saturday, but a security source said it was due to maintenance work.

“The smoke was caused by the using of petroleum materials to insulate the roofs,” the source noted.

The mosque was built in 2005 and named after the late King Hussein, who ruled Jordan for 47 years.
