Jordan Daily – President Bashar Al-Assad cast his vote in the parliamentary elections for the fourth legislative term at a polling station in Damascus.
Voting for the People’s Assembly began on Monday morning at all 8,151 polling stations across Syrian cities. A total of 1,516 candidates are competing for 250 seats.
These elections are the fourth parliamentary elections held since the onset of the Syrian crisis in 2011.
