Jordan Daily – The Syrian embassy in Amman issued around 25,000 free passports and 15,000 transit permits in the first two weeks of 2025 to help Syrians return home, according to embassy official Ihsan al-Rumman.
The embassy also provided 4,500 free official documents as part of Syria’s efforts to facilitate refugee repatriation.
Jordan has allowed Syrians to leave using security cards or expired passports, easing their return.
