Jordan Daily – Israeli forces carried out an airdrop operation on a military compound in the town of al-Kiswah, south of Damascus, a Syrian military source said late on Wednesday.
The source told state media that Israeli troops remained in the area for more than two hours after the landing.
Earlier, Syria’s state-run Ikhbariya TV reported that Israeli warplanes had struck military sites near al-Kiswah in the Damascus countryside.
