Jordan Daily – Around 70 foreign banks are seeking to open branches in Syria,Syrian financial sources said.
Banking authorities in Damascus have invited Jordanian lenders to take advantage of the opportunity, according to Amman-based financial officials.
“We are waiting a little until the picture and vision become clearer,” one Jordanian banker told a local news oultlet.
